Helios-01 Gen 1 NVG Monocular.
First of all, the unit has a fault. It is believed to be a power issue to do with the wiring. The unit itself powers on and the shuts off after a second. You can see through it and it does get a picture. I have googled and it states that it will be something to do with the power delivery via the wiring & it needs opening up, this is beyond my expertise & knowledge, so it goes up for sale.
Externals are literally factory new. Comes with carry case, original documentation, daytime cap and M42 adapter.
As you can see from the manual, this was manufactured in 2001. Which means this has the famous helios m42 lens famous for its bokeh among photographers.
The m42 adpater allows you to mount this night vision on any m42 camera or video recorder, so you can take nvg pictures.
A very cool piece, I wish I could fix it but its beyond my expertise.
