This is a new in box gun, never used on field, this has internal upgrades and trigger. I have tested before sale to ensure it is working.
If you’re after an affordable tactical platform, look no further than this! The SA-C17 is rocking a Strike Industries licensed CNC aluminium M-LOK handguard, perfect for those looking for that extra hint of realism when out skirmishing on the field. This AEG also boasts an alloy outer barrel with a high-density polymer receiver, buffer tube, stock and pistol grip, which gives you a great combination of realistic feel and ease of use. As with the original CORE series, the polymer quality is top-notch, more scratch-resistant than comparable metal receivers and overall lightweight for maintaining high energy throughout the skirmish day.
Inside the SA-C17 we are treated to the latest and greatest HAL ETU/MOSFET, a lovely addition for no extra cost! The HAL¹ ETU offers binary trigger, AUG mode and sniper delay instead of semi-auto and semi-auto lock, 3-round burst or 5-round burst instead of full auto, along with several quality-of-life improvements and most importantly for CQB, adjustable pre-cocking! Pre-cocking positions the piston at the rear of its cycle after a shot, meaning when you pull the trigger the response is practically instantaneous, ideal for semi-auto duels.
Starting at the front, we can find a pre-installed birdcage flash hider concealing 14mm CCW male barrel threads beneath. This means you can add a tracer or suppressor as soon as you are ready, or an alternative muzzle device to customise the looks of the SA-C17. If you want to add a sneaky style, a suppressor would be a fine choice, but for CQB, a compact tracer unit would also suit this beast perfectly!
Moving rearwards, we come to the M-LOK handguard of the SA-C17 which is constructed from aluminium using CNC machining, guaranteeing in-spec attachment slots and rails maintain a flawless form. The handguard is equipped with a short section of 20mm Picatinny rail at the receiver end, offering an extended receiver rail so you can mount larger optical sights and red dot sight/magnifier combos with some space to spare. The handguard features Strike Industries trademarks on both sides closest to the receiver, they look incredible and bring the realistic style of this AEG to a whole new level!
The sides and bottom of the handguard are equipped with M-LOK negative space attachment slots, allowing you to mount the latest vertical and angled foregrip designs directly to your handguard or make use of 20mm Picatinny rail adapters for M-LOK if you prefer the more readily available 20mm Picatinny accessories. The front end of the handguard is also aggressively styled with angled weight reduction/cooling vents, mimicking the real steel Strike Industries handguard. The benefit of a modern M-LOK handguard is that in its slick configuration, the handguard is incredibly light and surprisingly ergonomic, meaning you don’t need to add rail covers to avoid the cheese grater effect as you might with a 20mm Picatinny quad rail.
Next up we reach the receiver, which is of a standard and instantly recognizable M4/AR-15 configuration with controls laid out in a considerate and ergonomic manner, allowing the SA-C17 to be manipulated quickly and instinctively, even by new users.
The fire selector lever can be found just above the pistol grip, on the left side of the AEG, providing 3 modes of fire, SAFE, SEMI, and AUTO, with a 90-degree throw between each. The fire modes are helpfully marked in bold recessed text on the receiver and the selector switch locks positively into each mode with the help of texture on its surface to guarantee you have a good grip on this important control. The magazine release is on the right side of the magazine well and is accessible for a right-handed user with the tip of the trigger finger or by a lefty using the off-hand thumb.
Pulling back the charging handle, located at the top rear of the receiver will open the dust cover and retract the mock bolt carrier to allow access to the rotary HOP-up adjuster. This is the latest HOP-up unit design for the M4/AR-15 and provides finer increments of adjustment and holds its setting more effectively when compared to the older gear style HOP-up unit. The charging handle has an extended latch for easier access, allowing even those with thick gloves to access the HOP-up unit, though you may need to take off a glove to turn the adjuster!
The bolt catch on the left side of the receiver does not function but is nonetheless a separate moveable part to reduce the common tell-tale signs of a replica. The forward assist is a similar story, being present on the right side of the upper receiver and being another separate moving part which can be pressed in but has no effect on the function of the AEG. A new addition to this HAL-equipped SA-C08 is its flat trigger, enhancing the military aesthetic with a touch of modernity and providing an easily s
