A lovely looking and nicely weighted ASG Schofield revolver with an “aged” finish to it.
I bought this with the intention to use this as a prop during a themed game of airsoft (Hunt Showdown for Halloween anyone?) but enver wound up going due to family commitments. Just as well because this thing is NOT site legal. The information booklet enclosed in the box claims it shoots over 450FPS on .2b bbs! I’d imagine there are power-down shells out there somewhere, but from my brief search I couldn’t find any. So because of that, it’s been sat on display on my gun wall for a while now. It’s a nice conversation starter and certainly looks good in a collection but I need more space and so it has to go.
I have never shot this gun as it takes C02 cartridges and I don’t have any of those and only wanted this as a prop so I can’t primise that it will work. The rear sight which acts as a lever for the break action also has a tendancy to come loose. This seems to be a loose screw issue. Tightening them will solve the issue for a short while until it crops up again. Thread lock will probably solve this. The safety lever also went walkabouts at some point.
While the main body is full metal and feels nice the grip is made of plastic and uses a pretty convincing faux wood pattern.
